Three great outings on the Mack where we were throwing at stripers that were pushing schools of small bait up to the surface and slurping them down. All surface activity and very few other anglers on the water. The morning of the seventeenth was particularly good with literally no other fishermen in the river until 7AM. School after school of stripers got sucked up into the river where we were waiting. At any point in time you could see at least 2 or 3 hundred fish breaking the surface gulping down bait. My client Michael from Denmark, in between false casts said, "Dis is like fishing in da stocked pool!"
